A person's fate or destiny can be described as a unique and wholly personal thread woven into the fabric of the universe. Thus it is both interconnected with the destiny of many others yet distinct unto itself, making its own unique contribution to the whole cloth. When viewed from this perspective, it is easy to see why a persons destiny--a single thread in the divine plan--though equally important as a whole, may be difficult to discern.
Throughout the centuries human beings have gazed heavenward and asked themselves, "Why am I here? What is the purpose of my life?" Deep within all of us lies the certainty that there is something more to life and to ourselves--a purpose that transcends the physical plane and gives our lives meaning in the context of a greater, more beautiful whole.
"What if God were one of us?" It is my belief that HE IS! ;D

The Bible pretty much tells us why we are here.

Yes, Knuckledragger, I am extremely impressed with your attention and study in a variety of subjects. I am always impressed with open-minded, intellegent and non-judgemental points of views. You appear to have earned a great deal of good "karma" and I send you another to add to your particular aura. ~~~~Peace to you all.

I just thought of something. According to some, tattoo's and such are a sin because you are desecrating your body, and your body does not belong to you, but rather God. I have 2 myself. And for those that know me, they are religious in nature. Rather odd since I don't put much stock in the Bible. Anyway, what are ya'lls opinion's?

Could someone please post the verse in the Bible where it calls this a sin? I personally like tattoo's. I feel it is an art form and I am all for the freedom of expression. Of all the "sin's" that man commits is this really an issue of importance to God? IMHO it is not.

Lev. 19:28 "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord."
