Pretty neat Lock. Universes with in universes. Legs, how in the hell am I a "star person"? I thought I was just a foul mouthed, arrogant, obnoxious, holier than thou, hot tempered, vengeful, (kind hearted at times though) kick off in your a*s if you cross me or others I care about, knuckle draggin' convict guard?

Things That God Won't Ask You:
God won't ask what kind of car you drive, He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.
God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your house.
God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll ask how many people you helped clothe.
God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you treated your neighbor.
God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the content of your character.
God won't ask why it took you so long to seek salvation, He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in Heaven and not to the gates of Hell.

The only "word" I try to spread, is don't believe what some book tells you. Or what some "person of faith" tells you. But look inside yourself and you will find YOUR OWN answer.

LAst week I posted on the Trinity debate and think I must have dleted my own post, opps blonde showing thru. What do you think of the Trinity? My Thoughts...My know I am Catholic, so here is my take.
Well the Catholic Church teaches, and the Scriptures affirm, that there is one God, but three persons. What that means is that the three persons whom we call Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all distinct, yet all one. Many other faiths, from Pentacostal to Mormon teach various different ideas about the Trinity – like it’s just different names for the same being, or that they’re not all equal in power, etc.
Look no further than Scripture, though, to see that Jesus is a distinct person of the Trinity, which we read about in the Gospel of John. Jesus is referred to here as the Logos (the Word):
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be…” - John 1:1-3
So, here we see that Jesus (the Word) is not only “with God” but He is God.
Later on, He says that, “The Father and I are one.” in John 10:30, but we also see Him give us the Our Father, in Matthew 6 and Luke 11. If Jesus wasn’t God, than His statements in John would be false. If He wasn’t distinct, than He would not have given us (or phrased) the Our Father, like He did.
When it comes to the Spirit, Jesus shows us that the Spirit, too, is distinct:
“ But now I am going to the one who sent me…but I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate (Holy Spirit) will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.” - John 16:5-7
In fact, on the cross, Jesus breathes out on us, as He passes, the Spirit rests upon us…coming down upon them, later at Pentecost (Acts 1-2), and upon each and everyone of us in a special and unique way in the Sacraments, at our Baptism and Confirmation, especially.
Notice in the story of the Baptism of Jesus, you have all three persons of the Trinity present:
“It happened in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John. On coming up out of the water he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him. And a voice came from the heavens, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” - Mark 1:9-11
If there is any other confusion, read Matthew 28:19-20…it shows beyond a shadow of a doubt, Jesus’ understanding of the Trinity, which He is handing on to the Apostles as He commissions them to go forth and build the Church, spreading the Gospel message and handing on the Sacred Traditions that He, Himself, had given to them.
As for the second part of the question, explaining the Trinity…
Even the greatest doctors of our Church have not been able to totally explain this one – it is the greatest and most Sacred mystery.
St. Patrick tried to do it with a shamrock…showing how there were three separate “leaves” but they were all one.

You are exactly right Lizzy. I am not Catholic by any stretch of the imagination, but I do believe in the Trinity and I understand it better than most I think. But I will spare my personal explanation just because you did so well. Thanks. I was not aware that Catholics had a clue about the Trinity. Just goes to show you how "religion challenged" I am.

thanks for the smile tazz, had to laugh when I saw you say you had no idea that catholics had a clue about the Trinity. It is a core foundation of our faith. I think one of the biggest misconceptions of my belief is what others think we believe. Diversified religion is awesome. I love learning about others faith. I joined a bible study group abut 5 weeks ago, for women of all faiths. Well imagine my surprise when they were all Evangelical and I was the only one who was catholic. Needless to say I and them have differences in our fundamental belief, but we all believe in the same god. The trinity to them well that a different story. I won't be going back to the study, only because my own church begins them this week with the start of the Lenten season. Anyways I enjoy hearing others , so post away what it is you all believe. Challenged here too Tazz, but always willing to learn. Peace

What Would Jesus Drive? Most people assume WWJD stands for "What would Jesus do?"
But the initials really stand for "What would Jesus drive?"
One theory is that Jesus would tool around in an old Plymouth because the Bible says, "God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in a Fury."
And the saints all drove around in a Honda so that they could be of one Accord ;D
