The new DC motto: "Man made booze and God made grass...who do you trust?" Now it's understandable that we have an interim Secretary with no mention of a law/corrections background!

Good point Intruder. "Martial" Law is not the same. Anyway, with Intruders lil saying, it reminded me of a story. The Irish have a story as to why their whiskey barrels always seem to be missing some of the alcohol. They say the angels come down to take their share.

May god give the New Secretary the wisdom to do the Job that needs to be done. The Courage to do it in his name. Amen

Hopefully you will be back. Although I saw no ugly posts because "Frankenputer" was dead, I can most assuredly say that almost all of us have been attacked at some point.
Just take it for what it is (somebody with a big mouth) instead of what it felt like (hurt feelings, outrage, shock).
Don't let anyone "run" you off legs. This forum belongs to all of us.......not just the difficult people.

I consider myself lucky to have missed a few days. I guess we missed some ugly stuff.
"Frankenputer" has been remade, rebuilt, and reinvented many times. Some things just never die!

Druid, it was our good friend Canopener (now banned). He gave me a call out, which I foolishly accepted, and Legs had pointed out that I am not one to be f*cked with, because sometimes I'm stupid enough to say f*ck it, lets rock n roll! He started bashing Legs and Legs fought back. I'll let Legs tell the rest. Either which way, he did indeed suffer the wrath!

Tazz, I know you don't put much stock in anything that is NOT in the Bible as we know it. But, I think you'll like this passage from the Gospel of Thomas. Saying 75: Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: all came forth from me, and all attained to me. Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Pick up a stone, and you will find me there." Now, what do you think that means? To me, what it means is, Jesus is preaching that GOD is all around even in plces we least expect.

Knuck doesn't believe God and Jesus are the same. I think that is what he said.
As far as the Thomas quote Knuck; you know that I firmly believe that if it isn't in the Bible, then it ain't so. Do I believe in those particular books that didn't make it to the Bible? Sometimes. If what is in the apocrophys coincides with the Bible, then to me, it probably is true.

I believe what ol Jesus was trying to convey in that passage is, giving his disciples an analogy. And not "I" being literal.

I think you know more about the Bible than anyone else in your shoes knows. Meaning that most people who do not believe in the "Trinity" don't know squat about the Bible or its characters.
I am giving you a karma for that.............that's probably a mistake since you are already a karma hog.
