I base my belief in the ressurection in the fcat that I believe that the Holy Bible is true, inspired word of God. I believe in the "Trinity" Father, son and Holy Spirit". I believe that the Father aka God, came to earth in the form of his son-aka Jesus. I beileve that Jesus was crucified, died, rose again and returned to Heaven. God left behind for believers the Holy Spirit; through the Holy Spirit we communicate to god or Jesus, I believe he is the same. What a person has to understand is that a christians faith in eternal life is based on just that- "Faith". I sometime do not understand the miracles written in the Bible, however, I base my relationship with God that he created the everthything, so how is not just a simple snap of his fingers to raise Jesus from the Dead and return him to heaven. So, I have no choice but to acceot every miracle in the Bible, especially the ressurection. Christianity is also based on the "ressurection of the saints". I long for the day when I see Jesus face to Face, my loved ones who have died before me, especially my daughter who died as a baby, what a happy homecoming that day will be!!

"Pray for things that are not as though they were".
"Grace is getting what you don't deserve; Mercy is not getting what you do deserve."
"Create in me a clean heart oh God, renew a right spirit within me".
Just three phrases that I like. Hopefully Tater, these will bless you.........

This is veeeerrrry interesting The good book says the tree of life shall bear fruits and prosperity for all that partaketh of thee. But it doesn't say anything about fundamentalist nuts being fruit.

Rumor is that Crosby visited Lawtey CI over the Christmas holidays. And he was to have said that he had found the Lord. Oh My Goodness! Is there any truth to this rumor?

I heard something similar just a few days after Christmas. Wouldn't that be something...JC "found" JC. Must have been a helluva homecoming! The Christian in me wants to believe it's true because as a Christian I believe anyone can achieve redemption by giving thyself to the Lord and asking forgiveness of their sins. So in that regard I would have to say: Way to go Jimmy - "CAN I GET AN AMEN, AMEN AND A COUPLE OF HALLELUJAHS." The pagan, biker, convict guard inside me that has known the dude for 20+ years says if his lips are movin' he's lyin' and if he said it...it was pure unadulterated BS said to appease to masses and maybe get some positive press. ;D

Well if I had known you two were "on" tonight, I wouldn't have wasted my time. You both are correct.
It appears I need to come up with some questions that are a bit more difficult....wouldn't you say?
Can either of you name the 12 tribes of Israel?
No cheating............ ;D

REUBEN ,SIMEON , LEVI ,JUDAH DAN , NAPHTALI, GAD, ASHER ,ISSACHAR, ZEBULUN , JOSEPH , BENJAMIN
In the order of their birth, beginning in Genesis 29:32, these are the original twelve sons of Jacob -- the namesakes of the twelve families who went down into Egypt and became known as the Twelve (12) Tribes of Israel. Jacob was given the other name of "Israel" in Gen32:28.

Rachel and Leah the two wifes of Jacob were called the builders of the house of Israel. It was Moses who while at Mount Sinai heard God verbal instructions to raise the house, which was finally destroyed by the King Nebuchadnezzar. Ps I love bible trivia. I actually Play with a group every couple of months, but I must admit, this one was harder. It has a couple of answers, depending on who is interpeting some things. Anyways keep it going, I shall have to add to it. Peace
