There is an Ex FLDOC Guard who is a long term guest of HMQ in Darwin Correctional Centre Northern Territory, Australia.
Ex FLDOC guard William Wilson was sent to gaol for life on drug smuggling and assault causing grievous bodily harm on a Commonwealth employee in 2010.
Wilson was one of four crew member arrested by the Royal Australian Navy patrol boat HMAS Larrakia. Following his arrest and transfer to the Larrakia he committed, in the judges words, a brutal assault on probably the smallest guy serving in the RAN.
The only explanation Wilson gave to the Australian was the sailor would not obey his (Wilson's) orders.
I am curious why would a FLDOC guard think he had any authority to give orders to someone serving in the Royal Australian Navy?

1. It was an ex"guard". 2 who has any idea why people make the choices they do? 3 finally by all means keep him right where he is for his part in bringing the scourge of drugs to any one.

The same reason that we have staff members selling cigarettes, K2, drugs, phones etc right here in our state. Stupid is as stupid does. They claim it's a thin line but I see miles between keeping the law and purposely breaking it!

Ex FLDOC Guard = someone who used to work for the Florida Department of Corrections guarding inmates.
Why would a FLDOC guard think he has any authority to give orders to a member of the Royal Australian Navy on board and Australian warship?

Because he obviously thought he could run his mouth and get out of the trouble that he brought on himself. And since he is an "ex-guard" he no longer has anything to do with FL DC. Do you have any information as to why he no longer works for DC? I am beginning to think you might just be stirring a pot that has nothing to do with DC. IF a person commits a crime and they work at a Coca Cola bottling plant, no one cares about their employment or former employment. The bottom line is the Australian Navy caught a piece of garbage smuggling drugs into Australia. He is a criminal and has no authority to tell any one any thing.

Its actually called the Royal Australian Navy.
The evidence suggests Wilson (the Ex FLDOC guard/piece of garbage) recognised the Australian sailor as the younger brother of a Florida inmate, and did not like being told what to do by the younger brother of the inmate!. Who also was one of the sailors who found the drugs.
