Does anyone know if PBA loses to the teamsters if that gives Rick Scott the power to unilaterally due away with seniority bumping which he is hell bent on doing since we will have a new union ? That would be crazy if the teamsters take over in a few months due to all the pissed off people voting for them down south and then by electing the teamsters their bumping rights get taken from them. Anyone know the legal answer to that question ? So far Rick Scott has refused to sign any new State LEO agreements after expiration so they have just auto extended because he wants seniority bumping and some other things to weaken the deals out of there in the next contract to crush the unions.

I imagine we would continue with the current contract until a new one can be worked out when the new legislative session begins.

If we ratify the 2011-2012 collective bargaining agreement between the State and PBA it would protect many of the benefits of the current contract. The Teamsters would start from there.

Glad to hear the update for Teamster's. They will definitely get a YES vote from me and a dues card. They at least listened to the concerns of the Officers and took action. I hope the voters see that getting rid of JB and all his cronies will be a plus no matter what. GO TEAMSTER'S!!! Now, I am ready for the bashing from Truthtracker. ;D ;D ;D

At this point of watching PBA dwindle to almost nothing, I'll have to give the Teamsters the nod.

No bashing here brother, it's a matter of choice and the choice is yours. I know your joking me but, you also know I don't roll like that. Just like when I was State Law Enforcement and they had IUPA for collective bargaining agent, I still carried PBA and I will continue to carry PBA. God Bless America. Stay safe brothers and sisters. Oh and by the way State Law Enforcement went back to PBA, coincidence? I don't think so. ;D ;D ;D .

It wasn't meant as an analogy, It was a statement to emphasize choice.

That's the beautiful thing about interpretation and possibilities time will tell.
