I believe this maybe Suwannee CI 1st Officer arrest. K. Day was arrested 08/24/10 for Introduction of Contraband, a cell phone. She was one of the shining stars, on Admin Shift working in tool room. I am sure the numbers will increase. GO TEAM SUWANNEE!!!!

I'm sure that wasn't the only cell phone brought in. I wonder how many are floating around in there. Unbelieveable!

Was it a personal cell? or was she suppling the inmates? Goes to show even the shining stars don't shine very bright...

Was it a personal cell? or was she suppling the inmates? Goes to show even the shining stars don't shine very bright... Not sure if it was her phone or 1 bought or more bought for the inmates. The inmates are saying she was buying food for them and maybe having a sexual relation with 1. The 2 later are from inmate.com. She was released from jail on 8/25 at around 4:30PM.

Who cares if it was her personal cell phone, or a cell phone being brought in for an inmate. They are both just as dangerous. What happens if she had "misplaced" or the phone was "stolen"? A cell phone is a cell phone is a cell phone. I don't like it when I'm told we have to carry a state cell phone on a compound. What if a state cell phone were to go missing? Honestly, I feel ALL cell phones, including state cell phones, shouldn't be allowed on the compound.

I thought radios were just fine. Phone use is always abused anyway. Use that $$$$$$$$$$ and put it to good use.

The Inspector Supervisor does not determine the discipline. You are correct they decide what to investigate and what type of investigation. Then they approve the report that shows what rule, law, procedure or regulation that was violated. Legal decides what discipline is taken.
