May he Rest in Peace. He had some good attributes. I did not agree with the Black Thang. Have had enough of that!!!!!!!! I bet there will be a tremendous Dog and Pony Show.

Thoughts and prayers are extended to the family. He was the Secretary when I started. He came to our place several times. More than any of the other Secretaries have.

I have to say that in my 15 years, he was one of the better Secretaries that I worked for, he at least made it seem like he would listen. The CQML program was one of the better ideas that he implemented, allowing the rank and file to make suggestions. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

While I agree that Harry K was one of the best secretaries I have served under I disagree with your comments on the CQML program. That program was developed for the Japanese by an American after WWII to get their industry up and running after the war's devastation. The workers would have input on how to improve quality control in the manufacturing process. Toyota is a good example of this. However, that concept has never taken on in the good ole USofA because management has ALWAYS considered themselves better than the factory floor workers. It was also bullshit under Harry K because it was not designed for a government bureaucracy like DOC. It was never implemented during his term. It was window dressing, much like the "servant leadership" crap that was being pushed by the current secretary about 6 months ago. Do you actually think that in a bureaucracy such as ours that a Colonel, Asst Warden or Warden is going to listen and act upon the suggestions of a lowly CO, SGT ot LT??? Bwwwhahahahahahahahah!

Both programs can and would work with FDC. However, the EGO of the Kings in their Kingdoms, will not buy into anything that does not make them the powerful, know all, mindset that prevails in FDC. Then throw in micro-management which automatically makes one a mere puppet awaiting for the strings to be pulled. Any issue or anything that may resemble a decision has to go up the food chain and get the final blessings of the Pope. FDC only gives us the responsibility not the authority to run at the lowest level. Let's face it FDC is just a Department with PISS POOR MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!

I met Harry K back in 1985 at SFRC.I took him on TWO different tours of the Institution. He was a nice man in my openion & I did NOT agree with some of his ideas but was OK with others.I never saw anything that resembled disrespect come from him.May he rest in peace NEVER to see another CONVICT.In my almost 30 years we have had MUCH WORSE LEADERSHIP.

I don't know about your experiences, but I for one know that my administration listens to the rank and file on many issues. In fact, I know that we are asked for input all the time. I also know from first hand experience that the Department takes suggestions from employees. And while you may or may not believe this, the policy regarding Auxiliary Corrections Officers in part came from a suggestion that I made in 1999. I suggested Part Time officers to fill in spots for transport and hospital duties. While the policy doesn't entirely incorporate my suggestions, I received an Email from Central Office stating that they liked the suggestion and would look into it. A year later the policy came out. This was the one and only bright spot in my memory of the "Moore" administration.

In my opinion Harry Singletary ran the department the best out of all the years and many different secretaries. He was a good listener and was extremely bright. His motto was if it isn't broken don't try to fix it.We didn't have all this drama that is in the department now.

To whomever mentioned the dog and pony show, I am deeply disappointed that you would associate such foolishness with my godfather. There was no funeral. Dad was a devout Christian and before he passed he assured us all that he was ready and that all was well with his soul. We had a memorial service. There was no music, no yelling, outbursts, or dog and pony show as you put it. The reason why so many people have so many positive things to say about Dad is because he was a Christian first and employee second. I have learned so much from him and I am so blessed to still have his wife, my godmother, still here with me. I hope you reevaluate your statement and rest assured that Harry K. Singletary was a great man, but most importantly a faithful child of God.

Luke Bryan is my favourite US singer. His strong voice takes me away from all troubles of this planet and I can enjoy my life and listen songs created by his. Now the singer is going on a tour in 2020. The concerts scheduled for this year, up to the 12th of October. Ticket prices are moderate and available for all men and women with different income. If you are a country music lover as me, then you must visit at least one Luke's concert. All tour dates are available at the https://lukebryantourdates.com/. Open the website and make yourself familiar with all Luke Bryan concerts in 2020!

Florida Georgia Line is my favourite contry band. Headliners Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are those guys that could make anyone sing along with them. It's the reason I like to visit their concerts. And - that's surprisingly beatiful - in 2019 they have CAN'T SAY IT AIN'T COUNTRY TOUR which covers all the USA cities and towns. For tickets info visit Florida Georgia Line Concerts.

Breaking Benjamin is my favourite band of 2000s. They had so many hit songs! The ones I remember are 'The Diary of Jane', 'Tourniquet' and their hit 'So Cold'. These are real masterpieces, not fake like today! And it is sooo good that they have a tour in 2019-2020! So I'm going to attend their concert in 2019. The concert setlist is here: breakingbenjaminconcerts.com. Check it out and maybe we can even visit one of the Benjamin's together!
