I agree with the previous writer in regards to Benny Coleman. He will certainly be missed at UCI. He is both dedicated to the jpb and to his staff. We will also miss his sense of humor.South Fl. is lucky,he is a class act. I wish him best of luck.

South Florida Reception Center is lucky to be getting Bennie Coleman as Assistant Warden, he is one of the hardest working people that I know. And yes he does work 24/7....and an 8th day if he can squeeze it in!

OfficerJ, I seen your earlier post about being disappointed about not making Sergeant because of your time with the department. I just want to say that 'time' is a big thing in the department and always will be (right or wrong). However, I think that it is great that you sent a congratulations out to the ones that made it. Remember as the days tick by.....your just building your own time. Good Luck to you next time......and KEEP trying.....

Congratulations to the latest group promoted, special thoughts out to Billy Seay, Rodney Barnett, Laurie Owens and Dale Hughes. It's about time ;D Good luck with the new positions.
As far as transfers, we hate to see Major Dixon leave New River if only to go down the road a few miles. Good luck to him too. ;D

I understand Billy Seay was promoted to Major at Avon Park. Now, can anyone tell me exactly what positions Owens and Barnett achieved and where?
